Biotin (vitamin H)

Astragalus

Known in the native northern China and used for centuries as a “Huang Gi”- leader, which is associated with the yellow colour of the root and herb with a significant role – toning and strengthening the body. According to the Chinese, it strengthens the body’s vital force and gives a boost of energy. Astragalus contains large amounts of nutrients such as flavonoids, polysaccharides, triterpenes, amino acids, minerals and glycosides, which help to remove toxic substances from the body.

Essential oil of ylang-ylang

The oil obtained from the fragrant of the flowers ylang-ylang, growing in Southeast Asia. The oil contains benzoic acid, sesquiterpenes, geraniol, eugenol and pinene. The composition determines it’s antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. The oil also acts as an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, sedative and a relaxant. Ylang-ylang oil is recommended in nervous tension, mood swings and insomnia. It lowers blood pressure and relieves palpitations of nervous disorders. The oil is useful for oily and acne-prone skin and greasy hair. It is also considered as an aphrodisiac.

Sesame Oil

Obtained by pressing sesame seeds in the cold. In the cosmetics industry it is used as a body oil, massage and bath. Used in creams and lotions for dry, combination, mature, sensitive and non-ischemic skin. Also used in cosmetics, sunscreens, in preparations for the care of dry hair and a dry scalp (a natural protective factor against the sun). Sesame oil has warming purifying, properties, regulates the sebaceous glands.

Silk proteins

The main components are silk protein sericin and fibroin. Contains up to 18 amino acids that resemble the construction of the structure of our skin, therefore penetrate into it very easily, keeping its elasticity and flexibility, delaying the appearance of wrinkles. Silk proteins also have an exceptional ability to retain water in the skin, can bind water in an amount 300 times bigger than their weight. Furthermore, they have an electrostatic charge opposite to the charge of the skin making cosmetic containing silk firmly adhered to its surface, resulting in a feeling of great smoothness. In the same way silk proteins form a protective layer on the surface of the hair, smoothing it and retaining moisture inside it.

The tree species comes from the Balkan Peninsula, cultivated in Europe. Chestnut due to its medicinal properties is used, inter alia and in the cosmetic industry.  Chestnut is prepared for infusions, extracts, and shampoos for oily hair and creams.

Witch hazel (Hammamelis Extract, Witch Hazel Extract)

The species of tree or shrub comes from the United States and Canada. In Poland, mainly cultivated in gardens and parks. Hammamelis extract was used as an external preparation, widely used in cosmetics. Thanks to the presence of tannins and flavonoids, it is used in the manufacture of lotions and creams for massage firming body lotions and masks. Accelerates the regeneration of the skin, rejuvenating it effectively. It applies to local inflammation of the skin, mucous membranes, haemorrhoids, boils, varicose ailments and fungal skin changes. Witch fights gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Helps to eliminate swelling caused by bruising, swelling, insect bites, burns, prevents infections and eliminates the negative influence of UV rays.

Bergamot (Bergamot Fruit extract)

Derived from the gastrodii high (Gastrodia elata, Gastrodia Elata Blume), permanent in the orchid family, widespread in most of the provinces of China. The plant belongs to aphrodisiacs. The extract gastrodii inhibits hair loss, strengthens the hair follicles, improves blood circulation, has a strong vasodilator, allowing stimulation cell division, which prolongs the life cycle of hair.

The extract of guava (Psydium Guajava Leaf Extract)

The product obtained from guava the evergreen tree or shrub of the myrtle family. Active ingredients: tannic substances, essential oils, resin and fat. Its bark contains saponins, salts and minerals. The extract is used in cosmetics as a tonic and an astringent.

Pearl

Knotweed multi-flower Shou-Wu (Polygonum multiflorum)

Components are extracted from the leaves of vines of the multi-flower knotweed, a plant widespread in East Asia (China and Korea). It has a rejuvenating, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and toning functions. Shou-Wu (from the Chinese – “not to allow greying”) has the unique ability to rebuild the natural pigment of hair, is a recognized anti-grey and brittle hair ingredient. Promotes the regeneration of the skin, normalizes the exchange of pigmentation and slows the aging process.

Ephedra

It contains alkaloids and tannin. In cosmetics, the extract is used to produce a formula which reduces perspiration and eliminates pain.

Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea)

Contains tannin, organic acids (Gallic acid, oxalic acid, succinic acid and malic acid), sugars, sterols, flavonoids, coumarin and essential oils. Acts as a stimulant, generally strengthens and has anti-inflammatory properties. Rhodiola extract is used in the active products for flabby skin.

Selernica (Cnidium)

A plant from the grass family.  Coumarin and grass were detected in its roots. Fruits contain essential oils, which has anti-stress properties, brings a feeling of happiness and adds energy. The extract has antibacterial and antifungal agent, has a heating effect, and acts as a tonic.

Sesame (Semen Sesame)

Sesame seeds contain phytoestrogens, amino acids (histidine, tryptophan), tocopherol (vitamin E). The extract rebuilds the lipid structure of the skin, removes dryness and flaking, restores the barrier function and promotes rejuvenation.

Extract of Saffron (Saffron Extracts, Crocus Extract)

Perennial plant, occurring in the tropics of Asia and Africa. It contains vitamins A, E, C, B vitamins, trace elements (magnesium, copper and zinc), tannin, sterols and polysaccharides. It stimulates epidermal repair processes, promotes the healing of minor wounds and burns, normalizes the exchange of hydrogen salt and fat and strengthens blood vessels. Has an anti-inflammatory, binding and mitigation function. In cosmetics its part of the highly effective anti-wrinkle creams and creams for the care of flabby skin, tanning lotions and oils and cellulite products.

Lonucera

Mountain wax

The mineral group is the mass of bitumen.

Hexapeptide-3

Kaolin (Kaolin, from the Chinese Kao-ling, white clay, china clay)

A mineral from the alumina-silicate group, white scale generated by the degradation of feldspars. Has a cleansing and antiseptic function, stimulates the body’s defences and saturates the skin with minerals. Due to its properties it absorbs toxins and dirt. Kaolin prevents the spread of bacteria, facilitates regeneration and cell renewal. Helps to reduce edema, congestive symptoms in the subcutaneous tissue layer also used to treat cellulite. It can be used on sensitive skin.
